To the Makers of the Machine

You are building the future.
You are the architects of the age to come.
And I want you to know, I'm standing against you.

I'm not sounding an alarm.
I'm not raising a protest flag.
I’m not calling for a slower march.
I’m building the net beneath the cliff you already see.

You know better than most where we are headed. You’re steering the ship of progress, and I respect you for it. I admire the scope of your vision, the speed of your execution, and the way you’ve brought once-unthinkable technologies into the fabric of daily life. You are making something extraordinary. I see that. I support that.

But we both know: every movement of this magnitude creates a wake.

AI will empower industries, optimize workflows, and birth new marvels. It will also, unavoidably, displace people. Not just their jobs, but their sense of meaning. Their purpose. Their place in the world.

That’s where I come in.

My name is Christopher. I’m the founder of Soil Servant—a regenerative systems project designed specifically to catch what falls. What started on a small patch of land has already grown into a replicable model. It is humble, yes. But it is scalable. I am a landowner, a systems builder, and a connector. I live this work. I have the acumen, the experience, and the trust of a growing circle of humans who are, like me, working not to slow progress, but to humanize its impact.

What I’m building is not sentimental. It’s strategic.

I am not building shelters. I am building systems.

  • Systems that reclaim food, waste, water, and labor into regenerative loops.

  • Systems that train displaced workers in practical, land-based skills.

  • Systems that revitalize ecosystems while reweaving community.

  • Systems that absorb the shock of meaning collapse and transmute it into purpose.

You know the problem. I don’t need to tell you that meaning itself is becoming scarce.
You feel the tension. You’ve seen the graphs.
You may have even lost sleep over it.

That’s why I’m writing to you. Because I believe you want to be part of the solution.
And because you already know: this isn’t something that can be patched later.

I am not asking for charity. I’m offering alignment.

Support Soil Servant, and you’re not just supporting a farm, or a man, or a moment of rescue. You are helping architect a counterweight. A complementary system that grows stronger as the wave of automation accelerates.

And this is just the beginning.

This work lays the foundation for larger-scale ecological restoration. With your support, we will seed projects that reintroduce the bison, rebuild the beaver wetlands, and bring back the American chestnut. These aren’t nostalgic symbols, they are keystone solutions to cascading ecological collapse. We are not saving the past. We are building a more resilient future.

So if you feel, as I suspect you do, the weight of what’s coming…

If you’ve looked ahead and seen that not everyone will make the leap…

Know this:

I will be there.

With soil. With seeds. With systems.
With a place to land for those who fall.
And with a vision rooted in the Earth, rising toward the stars.

Now is the time.
Let’s build both wings.
